Kodak unveils mobile solar charger Kodak solar charger

Kodak has just released a number of products, including new cameras, an HD pocket camcorder, a photo frame, and a new Theatre HD Player, but this has got to be the most interesting (because it’s something everyone could use): a solar charger that can deliver up to 1.5 charges to a cell phone, run a music player for up to 33 hours, or give enough juice to a digicam for up to 200 more shots. Named as the Solar Charger KS100-C+2 (pardon the math), this tiny device can achieve a full stored charge in 14 hours via USB or 28 hours via sunlight. The charger can also be placed on a window sill or under a desk lamp to store energy when not in use. It’s listed to sell for $39.95 in September.
