It looks like we’re going to see the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Tab 2 next month   samsung leaked MWC itinerary

Okay, so maybe the Samsung Galaxy S2 being unveiled next month at MWC won’t be that big a surprise, but according to a leaked Samsung program schedule for February 13th, they have another device set for a February 13 introduction. The itinerary shows a Galaxy S2 presentation followed by presentation of a product clearly labeled as the “Galaxy Tab 2.”

Dell to ship the Streak tablet on August 13th   Dell Streak 5 inch

Finally, the last bit of info on Dell’s upcoming 5-inch Streak tablet has been revealed. We’ve known about the specs and the price, but Dell just came out with a release date, and it’s pretty close: it’s set to go on sale this Friday, August 13th, for $300 with a 2-year AT&T contract, or $550 without the network subsidy. If you signed up for the pre-sale, you can also pick up a sweet Plantronics Bluetooth kit for 99 cents when you get your Streak.

New hack unlocks 720p recording on Google’s Nexus One   Nexus One 720pGoogle’s Nexus One was supposed to be “all that and more” for smartphone fans when it was first released touting a 5MP cam, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and Google’s Android operating system, but apparently, its awesomeness was a bit limited—a bit of a let-down given the high-end spec. It’s still considered a pretty fine mobile phone though, but it did lack something found on most of its contemporaries: 720p HD video recording. Much like its “hidden” ability to connect to Wi-fi n networks, 720p recording has been in it all along. All it needed was a modded software patch to make it work.

Acer unveils Liquid E Ferrari edition phone   Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edition

First unveiled last year, Acer’s Android-powered Liquid smartphone isn’t “new,” by any means, although it has seen a significant update to Android 2.1 earlier this year. Acer just gave it a new breath of fresh air during the Computex show, dressing it up in Ferrari’s trademark shade of red for a little exclusivity.

Samsung Galaxy S will ship to 110 countries at once   Samsung Galaxy S

After exciting smartphone fans with a high-end spec that includes a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 5MP cam when they introduced the Android-powered Galaxy S last March, word is out that they plan to take the world by storm. According to this report from Korea, Samsung will be releasing their flagship smartphone to over 110 countries at the same time.
