OCZ Technology packed in two of the most relevant storage-based tech into a slim portable drive called the Enyo. The Enyo features a solid state drive inside the slim aluminum shell, and connects to PCs via a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface to make for a drive that’s listed to run up to 260MB/s read and 200MB/s write speeds as long as you plug it into a USB 3.0 port.

OCZ’s new Onyx SSDs will sell for less than $100   OCZ Onyx Series

We’ve been barraged by a lot of new solid state drives the whole of last year, but it was just a bit hard to get on the solid state bandwagon when they’re still priced at the equivalent of an arm and a leg per gigabyte of storage space. OCZ’s latest is a breath of fresh air though, offering average Joes the chance to pick up a solid state drive upgrade on the cheap.

OCZ intros 3.5 inch Colossus SSD   OCZ Colossus SSD

OCZ has just introduced the Colossus, a 3.5-inch SATA II solid state drive designed for high-end gaming, enthusiast and performance desktops. Available in capacities that range from 120GB to 1TB, the Colossus sports a 128MB onboard cache and dual controllers for performance, built-in RAID 0, and up to 260MB/s read and write speeds. The 3.5-inch form factor makes it ready for internal desktop mounting without having to pick up an extra mounting kit. Its downside is that this premium kit comes with a similarly heavy price tag that starts out at $609 for the 120GB model.

OCZ outs Z Drive m84 performance SSD drive    OCZ Z Drive m84

OCZ technology has just announced the Z-Drive m84, a solid state drive that connects through the PCI-Express interface. Meant to serve as a plug and play upgrade for enthusiasts who need the performance just as much as the extra storage space, the m84 should deliver. Built with MLC NAND technology and a bootable internal RAID 0 configuration, the drive is listed to reach speeds of up to up to 750MB/s read and 650MB/s write.

The Z-Drive m84 is available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacity models, and is backed by a 3-year warranty.
