Nokia 808 PureView now up for pre order in Italy, out in May Nokia 808 PureViewRemember the 808 PureView smartphone that Nokia unveiled at MWC? We’re sure you do, since it’s pretty hard to forget about a Symbian-powered (boo!) smartphone that packs a 41-megapixel camera. Anyway, if you do and you were looking to import one for yourself (Nokia already said they’re not bringing this phone in the US), here’s your first chance to secure one. Nokia’s Italian website just put it up for pre-order for €599 ($785), requiring you to put up €99 of it now if you want to get yours in May. You don’t like the Symbian part? Might be a good idea to sit this one out. Nokia is reportedly planning a Windows Phone version with the same high-end cam.

We don’t know if this is part of AT&T’s big push, but it’s definitely… unique. Personally, we don’t. But if you ever did, Nokia’s talking to you.

AT&T promises Nokia Lumia 900 launch will be biggest ever Nokia Lumia 900We all know that AT&T will be releasing the Nokia Lumia 900 on April 8th for $99.99 with a contract, and we all recognize how good a deal that is. Apparently, selling a high-end phone at a low-end price isn’t enough, not when the average consumer might not even be aware that Nokia’s re-entering the smartphone game with the Windows Phone OS in tow. So here’s the plan to help get things rolling: AT&T will be going all-in on the launch for this one, with AT&T device head Jeff Bradley saying that the Lumia 900 launch will be a “notch above anything we’ve ever done.” That’s huge, especially when AT&T’s list of things they’ve “done” includes the past five iPhone launches.
