LaCie intros Network Space MAX: one drive to store them all   LaCie Network Space MAX 2This awesome-looking black box may look simple, but it’s definitely handy to have around the house (as long as you have a router and a network running at home, that is. Otherwise, it’s just a shiny, black box with a blue light underneath). Called the Network Space MAX, this kit is a network attached storage drive that adds up to 4TBs of storage space with multiple uses across different devices.

LaCie intros USB 3.0 dual drive external storage kit   LaCie 2BigLaCie worked with Symwave and came out with an update of their 2Big RAID drive that’s still pretty much like the original, but now uses a faster USB 3.0 connection for burst speeds that top out at 275Mb/s.

LaCie unveils stylish new Network Space 2 media server    LaCie Network Space 2

LaCie has just announced a new network-attached storage-slash-media server device called the Network Space 2. Designed by Neil Poulton, the Network Space 2 features up to 1TB capacity, a gigabit Ethernet port for connecting it into the home network, a USB connection for adding external storage devices, and a widget-based interface for easy operation.

Netgear unveils Stora network storage device   Netgear Stora

Netgear today announced the Stora, an easy-to-use network-attached storage (NAS) device for sharing files over the home network. Sporting two drive bays, the Stora features the usual consumer NAS functions such as media sharing for streaming music (iTunes supported) videos and photos to other networked devices–such as computers, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, as well as the iPhone and BlackBerry phones—but comes with a simple interface for beginners (server admin experience not required).
