It looks like Disney is going all-out with the Tron brand. We’ve got Tron-themed 3D glasses, and we’ve seen Tron-themed gaming mice and keyboards. Now, they’ve teamed up with Monster Cable to put out a line of Tron-themed products highlighted by this pair of over-ears. The Daft Punk Edition Tron headphones are designed for all-around use, which basically includes gaming, home cinema and music (so yeah, that’s pretty much everything), but what makes this pair special? Like any other Tron-themed product, it’s all about the lights.
Almost every major home entertainment brand has come out with a 3D-playing HDTV model, each offering their own version of specialized 3D glasses to for viewing. That could cause problems when you rock a Samsung HDTV at home and have to go over your buddy’s house to watch a Shrek 3D marathon on his *gasp* Sony HDTV. Monster Cable offers a solution: pick up their Vision Max 3D glasses.
Monster Cable, the company behind the Beats line of headphones have partnered up with Major League Baseball team Boston Red Sox to come out with this set, the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Red Sox Edition. It’s comes with basically the same set of features that you can get with the original Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones, but with a Red Sox-inspired design, a longer name, and the potential to catch either admiration or scorn from the people that see you wearing it, depending on where you’re based. (Tip: rocking this set around Fenway park should get you some home-team love. On the other hand, Denver Colorado probably isn’t the best—or safest—place to wear these. It’s going to take some time before Rockies fans wash away the stink from that 4-0 World Series sweep.)

Weeks after announcing the Lady Gaga-influenced Heartbeats in-ears, Monster Cable pulled Sean “used-to-be-called-“Puff-Daddy-but-decided-to-stick-with-just-Diddy” Combs from out of a hat and designed new in-ears called the Diddybeats around him under the Beats by Dr.Dre brand.
