Apple updates the MacBook with new body Apple updates Macbook

Apple today updated the 13-inch MacBook by adding on the fringe features without having to tweak the specs. The update includes a new durable polycarbonate unibody design that’s lighter at 4.7 pounds and measures a little more than an inch thick. Apple also enhanced the notebook with a LED-backlit display that’s brighter and more power-efficient, a more spacious glass Multi-Touch trackpad, and a better built-in battery that’s rated to run for up to seven hours.

Best of all, Apple kept the price at $999. That means that if you bought your MacBook a week ago… well, we feel your pain.
