Gaming accessory maker Razer has been making all sorts of peripherals for the PC gaming crowd for years, but it looks like they got the memo about the recent growth of mobile gaming. Well, they’re working on equipping the mobile gaming crowd now: they just introduced the Razer Electra, a pair of over-ear headphones that’s designed for mobile gaming and audio.

Okay, we might have jumped the gun when we first said that Marshall’s awesome Minor in-ears have started shipping a couple of months ago. Apparently, because it was labeled as “sold out” at the time, we thought the Minors were selling like hotcakes right off the bat. Anyway, the Minor has, in fact, started shipping right now for $59. That’s a pretty good price, by the way, considering that you get Marshall’s brand on a pair of phones that look like they’re good to last. The pair also features an in-line mic and remote for making and taking mobile phone calls, plus an EarClick feature that promises to keep the buds securely lodged in your ears, allowing you to freely wave your hands in the air or jump around like you just don’t care. The “buy” button can be found on Marshall’s product page.
It looks like Disney is going all-out with the Tron brand. We’ve got Tron-themed 3D glasses, and we’ve seen Tron-themed gaming mice and keyboards. Now, they’ve teamed up with Monster Cable to put out a line of Tron-themed products highlighted by this pair of over-ears. The Daft Punk Edition Tron headphones are designed for all-around use, which basically includes gaming, home cinema and music (so yeah, that’s pretty much everything), but what makes this pair special? Like any other Tron-themed product, it’s all about the lights.
As expected (and anticipated), Marshall has finally unveiled their first two pairs of headphones: The Major and Minor. The Major is a pair of over-ear cans that features a foldable design for portability, “super soft cushions” for comfort. Not necessarily features that would make anyone rush out to pick up a pair, but the headband’s made out of the same textured vinyl used on Marshall’s amplifiers, so that could make for a strong selling point for rockers who actually know what Marshall’s all about. Of course, for everyone else, it just looks like plain black textured leather, but hey, you get a pair of quality cans for $99 from an established brand, so it’s all good.
We’re pretty sure you’re familiar with the brand. But in case you haven’t been paying attention to the amps and speakers usually stacked behind a live band before, or you’ve never rocked an electric guitar in your life, Marshall is an amp maker who traditionally specializes in, well, amplifiers. For people who rock. Anyway, they’ve just put out the word that they’re going to be branching out into a product range that’ll keep you rocking, but not as loudly or annoying to your neighbors.
