Awesome game pack if you miss the good old days of gaming, but it’s just not the same without the analog controls. Razer’s Orochi notebook gaming mouse gets a spit shine, comes out as the Black Chrome Edition   razer orochi black chrome 2

Just in case you weren’t familiar with the original Orochi notebook gaming mouse that Razer put out a couple of years ago, it’s basically a mouse with gaming/performance bits and Bluetooth/ USB connectivity built into a compact mouse meant for portable/laptop gaming. This update is basically a purely cosmetic one, coming with the same high-end specs, but in a better-looking shiny shell.

Sony intros a 24 inch 3D TV for the PS3   Sony PS3 3D displayA 24-inch 3D TV for the PS3? That’s a lot of seemingly random numbers, but that’s exactly what Sony pulled out during their keynote presentation at E3. The new TV is specifically designed to be used with the PS3, giving players an affordable 3D-capable display that comes bundled with a pair of active shutter 3D glasses.

Concept no more: Razer’s Switchblade mini gaming PC to be released in China   razer switchblade concept 1

The Razer Switchblade concept device might not have been more than a blip on your radar when it was first pimped out at CES because, well, it was just a “concept” device at the time. It was certainly interesting though: the Switchblade is basically a Windows 7-based notebook with a 6.8-inch screen running on an Atom processor. Unlike your regular Atom-powered netbook, this thing’s specifically designed for gaming-on-the-go with a backlit dynamic keyboard that can be customized to show buttons for games. It should cause a bigger blip pretty soon though, since it’s actually set to start selling in China.

Microsoft drops SideWinder gaming hardware line    Microsoft%20SideWinder%20X8Gamers today have a lot of brand choices to pick from when they’re shopping for a quality gaming mouse, keyboard or controller, but it looks like the options just became shorter. VR-Zone just reported that Microsoft has decided to discontinue their SideWinder gaming line. This won’t be the first time they’ve decided to drop it, but this could be the last. Microsoft first dropped the gaming brand back in 2003, then re-launched again in 2007 with a few – but awesome, nonetheless – products like the X6 keyboard and X8 mouse.
