Nokia’s Symbian^3 line of smartphones just grew larger after they officially unveiled three new touchscreen-equipped phones running on the brand new OS to follow the long-awaited N8 (which, by the way, still hasn’t started shipping). The list starts off with the C6-01, which we first caught a glimpse of thanks to a leak; a more upscale C7 that packs an 8MP cam and 720p recording capabilities; and the E7, which Nokia touts as the “ultimate business smartphone.”
First off, this phone is not the Nokia C6 (technically, also known as the “C6-00”), which was introduced back in April. Thanks to a premature posting by Nokia’s Dutch site, we got an early look at what could be a cheaper, but better-specced version called the C6-01.
A set of leaked photos show an upcoming Nokia handset in the pipeline. Clearly labeled as the C7, the photos show what looks to be a high-end phone due to sit at the top of Nokia’s mainstream Cseries range. It’s not as “high-end” as the already-announced N8 with the 12MP cam, but this phone should still compare nicely compared with what’s currently available.

Nokia has just announced the C5, their first phone to fall under their new Cseries line of handsets that mainly focuses on “communication.” Launched after realigning the rest of their products under the N, X, and Eseries, the Cseries will be representing their core range of products. The C5 certainly looks simple enough with a classic candybar body, but it’s not just a basic entry-level phone; this slim handset is packed with Symbian smarts.
