Do you dig the iPod nano but not the price? Creative just announced a nice, affordable option called the ZEN Style, which basically comes in the same square shape if square-shaped PMPs rock your boat. Given, the Creative M300 gives up a fraction of screen space (its screen measures 1.45 inches vs. the nano’s 1.54) and this player comes with touch buttons and not a touch screen, but hey, these players are way cheaper.
It’s been out in Europe for a few weeks now, but if you’re in the US looking for an affordable Android 2.1-based tablet, here’s an interesting option. Creative’s 7-inch ZiiO tablet is now available both on Creative’s online store and on Amazon, ranging from an 8GB model that starts at $250 to a 16GB model that costs $270. Obviously, it should appeal to budget buyers, but here’s what makes it stand apart from the bunch of existing Android tablets in the same price range: Creative designed it with multimedia playback in mind, and fitted it with their X-Fi audio processing tech (for enhanced audio quality) with wireless speaker support via Bluetooth.
Creative’s new gaming headsets look cool on their own, but for an online gamer who probably spends more time in a fantasy world (the World of Warcraft online gaming world in particular) than in the real one, this probably crosses the line into awesome. Priced at $160, the Creative Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset isn’t just a pretty, game-themed accessory with a long name though; Creative packed in a lot of serious audio tech in here.
Creative has just unveiled a new update for their Vado HD pocket camcorders. The third-gen Vado HD comes with a better HD CMOS sensor that improves light sensitivity and offers manual exposure, as well as touch-sensitive controls for instant idiot-proof video recording.
