Source says HD Wii’s controller will also come with an HD screen Wii HD

While the details of the next-gen Wii are still very slim, they’re slowly coming in. After the recently leaked info that says the next Wii will pack a highly improved and updated spec that could possibly trump the Xbox 360 and PS3’s hardware, here’s another bit of info that should be as telling, but just as vague. According to a Game Informer source, the new console’s controller will also pack a built-in HD screen.

Rumor: Next gen Wii will be unveiled at E3, better than Xbox 360, PS3? Wii HD

Well, it looks like there’s a good reason for Nintendo to drop the Wii’s price down to $150. If this rumor proves true, it’s because they’re preparing for a major release. And by “major,” we mean “potentially better than the Xbox 360 and PS3 in performance.” Or so says Game Informer’s sources.

Leak: Nintendo to cut Wii price down to $150 in May? Nintendo Wii 150 rumor

According to an Engadget source, Nintendo plans to drop the Wii’s price down to $150 on May 15 though, just a few weeks before E3.

A modder named Angel OD at the Bit-Tech forums, for some reason, wondered why no one ever slapped on a water-cooling kit on a Wii before, and started to work on a project to do just that. We believe no one has done it since it doesn’t seem to run hot enough to need one (at least ours doesn’t) which makes the exercise a bit unnecessary, but we’re not going to argue about the awesomeness of the finished product.

Sony bans PS3 hackers, PS3 hackers find way to unban themselves PS3 hacked

See, this is probably why Apple didn’t bother to go after the jailbreak community (and by “jailbreak community,” we mean each and every person who hacked their own phones). Here’s an amusing update on the Sony vs PS3 hackers saga: After being banned by Sony from the PlayStation Network for using hacked PS3 consoles, the hackers cooked up a way to un-ban themselves.
