When Samsung announced that they were about to release what they labeled as ‘world’s largest consumer 3D TV,’ we couldn’t imagine anything more awesome than having a 75-inch 3D-capable HDTV sitting smack dab on a living room wall. Unless, of course, someone comes up with an even larger 3D-capable HDTV. Apparently, Samsung didn’t look around that much when they came up with the ‘world’s largest’ claim, because Bang & Olufsen’s 85-inch BeoVision 4-85 is about to start shipping. (Samsung apparently holds the title for ‘largest 3D LCD TV’ though, since this set rocks a plasma screen).
Looking for something awesome to dock your iPod, iPhone or iPad onto? B&O just introduced the BeoSound 8, a speaker dock that features an adjustable holder for parking anything from an iPod nano to an iPad, high-end sound quality, and a design that should go well wherever you decide to put it.
Denmark-based Lumigon has announced that they’ll be putting out an Android-powered smartphone called the Lumigon. Despite the rather unique aluminum-and-steel body that stands out from the dozens of shiny black Android phones, it does come with familiar trappings that includes a 3.5-inch screen, 5MP cam, 3G/HSDPA and Wi-fi connectivity. So what makes it different? It’s all about the audio, apparently. The Lumigon T1 features Bang & Olufsen’s ICEpower technology, which pretty much guarantees that the audio coming out from this phone’s speakers and headphones are going to be top-notch. Or at least better than your average smartphone’s audio quality.

B&O has introduced an upsized model for their existing BeoVision 7 line with a 55-incher. Currently the largest-sized screen along the line, the new BeoVision 7-55 has been updated with a faster 120Hz refresh rate, motion compensation, and a new LED backlight with progressive scanning.

Bang & Olufsen has recently unveiled the BeoVision 10, a 40-inch LCD display that the company is touting as the slimmest 40-incher they’ve ever created.
