Asus could already be working on a follow-up to the Eee Pad Transformer Prime. Taiwan site NCCC has spotted an unreleased tablet labeled as the TF300T, coming with a certification from QuieTek that provides wireless testing. It doesn’t come with an official name yet, but judging by the model number, it could be a follow-up to the company’s latest flagship tablet, the Transformer Prime TF101.
Asus will finally pull out the Padfone that they’ve been pimping since May 2011 during last year’s Computex. This was confirmed when they sent out invites to a press event they’ll be holding at the Mobile World Mobile in February.
Asus has officially introduced the 7-inch tablet that was revealed in a leak last week. Called the Eee Pad MeMO ME370T, the tablet packs an impressive spec that’s highlighted by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0 OS, and a high-quality IPS display with a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. But that’s not the most exciting part – Asus has also announced that they’ll only be asking for $249 for this compact tablet, offering a lot more tablet goodness compared to the $200 Kindle Fire.
A leaked shot and image posted at Notebook Italia has revealed what Asus might be unveiling at CES: a 7-inch tablet that could be called the Eee Memo Pad (or the “Eee Pad Memo”, depending on how you read the translation). The leaked details show a compact slate with a premium spec that includes a 7-inch, 1280 x 800 screen and a dual-core Snapdragon processor.
Asus has put out full renders of the Eee PC 1200 series netbooks that they’ll be pimping out at CES next week. Judging by the photos, the new netbook will feature very slim bodies totally wrapped in a solid color – a nice touch, by the looks of it – and a MacBook Air-styled hinge where the lid’s back end slides over the base.
