A bit of good news for a number of Apple fans from around the world just came in: Apple has officially launched the iPhone 4S in 20 more countries late last week, mostly in the Middle East and Asia.
Supply sources have tipped off a possible major update for Apple’s 2012 MacBook Pro notebooks. According to the report, the upcoming MacBook Pro will feature resolutions of up to 2880 x 1800, which would be a huge improvement over the line’s existing 15-inch 1680 x 1050 screens and 1920 x 1200 17-inchers – a move for Apple to separate from the rest of the pack.
Here’s another attempt to make Siri run on older iOS 5 devices (like the iPhone 4). The difference between all those earlier attempts and this one? This tweak is available to anyone with a jailbroken device, thanks to a package that doesn’t use Apple’s original iPhone 4S keys or files – or in other words, it’s a legal (and available) way for you to add Siri’s voice dictation feature on your non-iPhone 4S device.

Interesting news just popped up regarding Apple’s 2012 iPad (or the “iPad 3”), basically confirming that the next-gen tablet will pack in four times the pixels used on the iPad 2. According to Richard Shim, an analyst at DisplaySearch, production has started for QXGA (2048 x 1536) panels for the next-gen iPad, and that Apple will be sourcing the high-res panels from three suppliers, Samsung, Sharp, and LGD.
