Previously teased with a price that put it in the range of “below $1,000,” it’s described as the “most powerful sub-12-inch gaming laptop in the universe.” Now, we can’t vouch for what teenagers on other planets use for gaming (or how small martian gaming laptops are), but at $799, the M11x’s rare mix of gaming-class power, everyday portability and reasonable price tag is turning out to be a sweet deal we’d want to pick up. Dell has just revamped their Studio line of performance notebooks–the Studio 15, Studio 17, and Studio XPS 16—with an option to add Intel’s new quad-cored Core i7 mobile processors. The three models include options for adding either the i7-720QM (1.6GHz) or i7-820QM (1.73GHz). Alienware (also owned by Delll) has also launched the first notebook to ship with a mobile Core i7 processor, the 15-inch m15x.

Alienware has added a new special edition Nebula Red body color option for its M17x notebook. Previously only available in either Space Black or Lunar Silver, the new special edition color will still be applied to the original anodized aluminum frame.

Now-owned-by-Dell gaming systems manufacturer Alienware is now selling their first game-tuned LCD display. Labeled as the OptX AW2210, this monitor sports a 21.5-inch, HD 1080p-capable panel and Alienware’s nifty design traits (but not the trademark green body color).
