It’s not necessarily fresh, but this ad had me giggling like a ten-year-old girl when I first saw it. It’s an ad for Blur, Activision’s new racing game borrow’s Mario Kart’s powerup-based style—where you race around the track while picking up powerups to boost your game or hinder your opponent’s—but without the cartoon-y graphics. Definitely a new take on the realistic (looking) racing game genre. And is it just me or did that ad just made me want to pick up the game? EA’s Need for Speed franchise is getting really old, really fast.

Activision recently provided more details for their upcoming turntable bundle for the upcoming DJ Hero game. Tagged as the DJ Hero Renegade Edition, the new bundle will come with a black turntable with gold sliders and a carrying case that doubles into a stand. The special edition bundle will also come with a two-CD pack that features previously unreleased tracks for Jay-Z and Eminem.
