Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Whether you’re looking to get some exercise done, save on gas money or you’re just a fan of skin-tight bike shorts, here’s something you might want to check out: Google Maps has just added a new feature called Biking Directions to give cyclists route suggestions across bike trails and bike-friendly roads. Google’s mantra is Bulls**t, Adobe is lazy -Jobs

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Steve JobsDuring a town hall meeting with Apple employees after the big iPad launch, Steve Jobs got quite a few big cheers from the crowd when he gave out some quote-worthy answers to questions about the competition. Google’s Goggles lets you search using photos

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Google has unveiled Goggles, a new visual search service that lets users do online searches using photos taken by an Android-running phone. The app can be downloaded from the Android market, and works by simply taking a photo of an object (products, business cards, landmarks, and locations) with the phone. Google then tries to recognize the object, and gives you the relevant search info.

It’s still in Beta though, and is currently set to work on Android smartphones (v1.6-onwards), with no word on availability for other mobile operating systems.
