It’s not clear how they got the info, but Notebook Italia just put out a full spec list, photos, and an official name (apparently, it’s going to be called the Folio 100) for Toshiba’s upcoming tablet before the official introduction. Looks pretty good too. The Android 2.2 OS and 10.1-inch widescreen (1024 x 600)  multitouch display was a bit predictable, but the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor looks like a good bonus if you’re into watching downscaled HD content on a tablet.

ViewSonic already confirmed that they were getting ready to unveil a 7-inch and 10-inch Tablet at the IFA show set for next week, but a recent leak gives us a good look into what it’s all about. Samsung just put up a new teaser site for the Galaxy Tab that shows, well, nothing but a teaser video. The video doesn’t really reveal anything new or concrete (since, again, it’s just a teaser video), but it did confirm a few of the Tab’s leaked details. Basically, here’s what the video tells us: it’ll come with a 7-inch screen, it’ll do video calls, run Android 2.2, and—according to the blurry floating words in the background–it’s capable of HD movie playback, full web browsing (which most likely means Flash support), book reading, and GPS navigation. Oh, and it’ll be made officially official on September 2, during the IFA in Germany.

The teaser video’s available after the break.

New details of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab have leaked from China, showing details that make it look like an Android-based iPad clone more than anything. Yeah, we know. It’s certainly not a clone, but you have to agree that it looks like one, right? We already know about the glossy black bezel design that no one really “owns,” but the photos also show it using a very familiar-looking cable/dock connector at the bottom that looks like it could connect to an Apple device (does it have to be white too?) instead of the usual USB cable.
