Since we don’t expect image leaks of the next iPhone for a few more months, there’s a lot of hype surrounding Samsung’s Galaxy S III these days, mostly because a lot of people expected Samsung to unveil it during the MWC in February, but they didn’t. Ultimately, they decided to move the official announcement closer to the release date so until that day comes, we’re all left to wonder what’s in store for us. Thanks to all this spare time, we get to see a lot of “leaks”, including this one. Another supposed image of the Galaxy S III just leaked out, and this one looks pretty convincing.
Talk of Google coming out with a low-cost, 7-inch, Asus-built tablet isn’t new, but new reports point to something that’s even cheaper than what we originally thought. Earlier rumors seem to point to the Eee Pad MeMo 370T – a 7-incher that rocked a quad-core Tegra 3, Android 4 and a $249 price tag when Asus showed it off back in January – as the basis for the Nexus-branded slate, but a new report says that they’re aiming for a cheaper package that could go as low as $149.

Asus and Google is collaborating on a 7-inch tablet that targets the Kindle Fire with a price tag of $199-249. Details are a bit limited at this point, but the tablet will be out by May, and will be the first to run the Google Play store. According to this report by DigiTimes, Google chose to work with Asus on this one because of their good product quality and ODM capabilities.

Whether through its search properties, or online content, building a robust digital experience for its users has always been among Google’s priorities. For this, products like the Android Market, Google Music and Google eBookstore have been set up to allow users people to easily download, consume and manage their digital content. Today, the Web giant has announced that it has mashed up all these into Android Market, and rebranded it as Google Play.
