AT&T to launch Nokia Lumia 900 in March for $100   Nokia Lumia 900A source has handed a portion of AT&T’s 2012 roadmap to BGR, mentioning a release date and a very interesting price point for the Lumia 900 that Nokia introduced earlier this month. According to the leaked info, AT&T will start shipping Nokia’s upcoming Windows-based flagship smartphone in the US in March (it’s rumored to be on the 18th) for the mouth-watering price of $99.99.

Apple will be talking about education on January 19 in NYC   Apple jan19 education event

Apple has sent out invites for an “education announcement in the Big Apple” on January 19th at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Past the one liner, the invite didn’t reveal exactly what they were planning to announce, but there’s talk about it focusing on iBooks. Steve Jobs has always wanted to revolutionize textbooks, and this looks like it has something to do with his vision. It’s either that or they’re going to be announcing some kind of low-cost iPad for students to use. We’ll know for sure in a week.

Report: iPad 3 production has started for March release   iPad 3

Production is underway and looks to be on-schedule for the expected March release, according to a report posted on Japanese site Macotakara. Sources from China told the site that two manufacturers, Foxconn and Pegatron, have been said to be assembling the next iPad 3, and added that the device will generally look similar to the iPad 2.

iPad 3 home button spotted in China, reveals tiny design tweaks   ipad 3 home buttons

The pair of photos show what’s being reported as the iPad 3’s home button, compared side-by side with the existing iPad 2’s button. Considering that we’re only a few months away from a possible introduction, it’s probably not the most interesting detail, but it does reveal a number of things about the next iPad.

Sony Ericsson LT28at with 13MP cam, 720p screen spotted   Sony Ericsson LT28at Bluetooth SIG listing

A previously-unknown Sony Ericsson smartphone has just been spotted as details popped up at the Bluetooth SIG site listed only by its LT28at product code (which means that it’s headed for AT&T). The listing doesn’t include images of the phone itself, but it did reveal some interesting high-end details that include a 4.55-inch Reality display with a 720 x 1280 resolution, LTE support, and a premium 13MP back-illuminated camera sensor with an LED flash and 720 front-facing cam.
