Samsung to pimp out retro styled, vacuum tube powered audio dock to audiophiles   Samsung DA E750Samsung announced two new audio docks that they’ll be showing off at CES next week. First up is the DA-E750, which is a premium speaker that comes powered by a mix of Samsung’s own 100-watt hybrid vacuum tube amplifier for pumping out warm tones and a digital amp for accuracy, and packs in a 2.1 speaker setup.

LG to unveil 84 inch 4k LCD 3D HDTV at CES 2012   LG 84 inch 4k LCD TV

After announcing that they’ll be showing off a 55-inch OLED TV at CES in Las Vegas next week, LG has described another huge screen in store for the trade show: an 84-inch 3D LCD TV. It’s not just huge and it won’t just give you 3D goodness (via passive Cinema 3D glasses) – this thing is crisp, thanks to a 3840 x 2160 resolution that packs in four times the pixels of your usual 1080p HDTV.

LG to release “non ugly” Cinema 3D TV glasses in 2012   LG 2012 3D glasses

If you just splurged a serious amount of cash this season for a new home entertainment center that centers on a 3D TV – and a few pairs of generic 3D TV glasses to watch it with – then you’re going to want to look into this. LG has announced that they’ll be coming out with a new collection of 3D glasses. They’ll probably work just like the ones you already have (more or less), but the new line promises to be lighter and more comfortable to wear and look less goofy, with clean frames and curved lenses, designs that you can probably get away with outside on a sunny day, and a pair designed by designer Alain Mikli. LG unveils 55 inch OLED TV, claims worlds largest title   LG 55 inch OLED TV 1

LG has just unveiled a 55-inch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TV, which sets the record for rocking the world’s largest OLED TV screen. The particular set they’ve unveiled is just a prototype to show off what you can do with an oxide thin-film transistor instead of the usual polysilicon used on smaller OLED screens – basically, it’s LG’s way of upping the screen size without raising the price (or at least not too much).

LG teases gesture supporting Magic Motion Remote   LG Magic Motion Remote 1LG revealed their plans for a TV accessory that supports Wii-like gestures. Called the Magic Motion Remote, the device looks like a simplified TV remote that comes with a Spartan amount of buttons to keep things simple, coming with a simple 5-way d-pad and your basic volume, channel and power buttons.
