Patriot Memory has announced that they’ll be coming out with a new line of performance DDR3 memory specifically designed to run on AMD’s Dragon platform. Branded as the G Series (for “Gamer”), the new line of memory modules target gamers and enthusiasts who need the stability for running systems based on AMD’s overclocker-friendly Black Edition processors.

Samsung has just announced that they’ve developed the world’s first 32 Gigabyte DDR3 module. Expected after announcing their 50-nanometer, 4Gb (Gigabit) memory chips earlier this year that allowed for more memory to be stuffed onto a single stick, these working modules operate at 1.35 volts to consume less energy.

Memory maker Kingston has just announced a new enthusiast-class fan kit to cool down performance memory, namely their HyperX DDR3 triple-channel kits. Featuring an anodized aluminum body and a pair of silent, low-powered 60mm fans, the HyperX fan slots right above and around the DIMM slots, with enough space to fit in up to three memory modules plus their heatsinks.

Overclocking a system is a delicate balance between pushing clock speeds and maintaining stable temperatures on the CPU, graphics, and memory. Pushing the limits of memory modules is another matter though, since performance memory sticks are usually limited to passive cooling solutions via an integrated heatsink. Corsair aims to fix that by offering the world’s first sub-ambient cooler for their Dominator and Dominator GT lines of performance memory.
