Pricing and ship dates have been released for Nokia’s highly anticipated Lumia phones – for a few countries in Europe, anyway. US launch details are still up in the air, but if you at least want an idea about relative pricing for off-contract units, Nokia has released the numbers and dates for Russia, Germany, and Italy.
Nokia Russia has started taking preorders for the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 late last week. Set to ship in ‘Q4, 2012’, the Lumia 920 is set to sell for the equivalent of $800 and the Lumia 820 at $640.
Pricing for both phones are slightly higher in Germany, where both phones will be available in November. According to Nokia Germany, the Lumia 920 will cost 649 euros (around $835), while the Lumia 820 will sell for 499 euros (around $640).
Nokia Italy has the cheapest off-contract price for the Lumia 920 (so far), pricing the flagship WP8 phone at 599 euros, or around $770. At least one Italian carrier says that the Lumia 920 will be available on November 12th. The Lumia 820 will also cost 499 euros in Italy.
