Next-gen iPhone to come with redesigned earphones?

Is Apple going to package a redesigned pair of earphones with the upcoming 2012 iPhone? It sure looks like it, if the photos and video that Vietnamese site Tinhte posted checks out. The report shows a new pair that sports a very different design compared to the usual set we’ve been seeing on every iPod, iPad and iPhone for a while now. According to the post, the new earphones will rock a single-piece design  — or at least what appears to be a single piece — and a smaller shape that won’t hurt to wear he way the old earbuds did. The labels on the cable also show that these new earphones are manufactured in Foxconn’s plant in Vietnam. Check out the video and other photos after the break.
