It looks like we’re going to see quite a few hybrid tablet-notebook devices once Windows 8 rolls out. Shortly after Samsung released a teaser video that shows what looks to be a slim, stylus-supporting, tablet-book type… thing, we catch word of this: Sony’s preparing to release one too. Photos of a device called the Sony VAIO Duo 11 got sent to PocketNow, showing a Windows 8-based tablet that converts into a notebook.
Past the (non-RT) Windows 8 OS and the assumption that it’s going to feature an 11-inch screen (where it likely got its name), details are a bit short. The photos do show a stylus interface though, as well as a built-in fold-out keyboard with backlit keys and a pointer.
