In every family gathering or night out with friends, there will always be that one guy who won’t be in the group photos because he’s the one taking pictures. You know, the only cousin who won’t be in the photos next to derpy old Uncle Bill and his pair of stuffed, inbred possums; the only one of the guys not scribbling obscenities on sloshed Nick’s face surrounded by empty Funyan bags. Yeah, that guy. If, unfortunately, that’s you and you’re tired of not being in photos then the new iOS jailbreak tweak CamTime just may be what you’ve been looking for.
As awesome as the native iOS camera app is, the lack of a timer functionality does tend to dub unwitting iPhone owners with the aforementioned that guy nomen during events and gatherings. Developed by Russian mobile app developer Vladislav Korotnev, CamTime is a simple jailbreak tweak that helps solve that dilemma by adding a timer right on the cam’s interface.
Once you run this tweak on your iPhone, a timer will appear on the left side of the cam’s shutter button. Tapping on the timer will pull up a window where you can specify how many seconds you’ll need to be able to set up your phone, casually walk into the cam’s field of vision, and strike a pose with your friends. Another cool thing about thing about this tweak is that it also works well for shooting videos. CamTime is a free jailbreak tweak you can download through Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
