LG’s unannounced Optimus G smartphone has popped up in leaked photos, showing a phone that looks pretty stacked for performance. According to AndroidMx, the Optimus G will be running on a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM.
A screenshot of the phone’s system screen reveals an equally impressive spec. The phone will feature a 4.7-inch IPS screen with a 1280 x 720 resolution powered by an Adreno 320 graphics chip, a 13-megapixel 1080p-capable camera at the back. The photos show that the Optimus G will also sport a front-facing cam, but resolution wasn’t mentioned.
The phone is also shown to be running on Android 4.0.4; it’s unconfirmed if the Optimus G will be shipping with this version of the OS, but the hardware is certainly good enough for an update to Jelly Bean.
The leak also mentioned that the LG Optimus G will be available in Korea in September, followed by an international launch soon after.
