Shortly after buying out Instagram, Facebook has launched their own camera app for the iPhone that shares some of the former’s features. Simply called the Facebook Camera, the new app basically streamlines the upload process straight to your Facebook profile.
The app initially hooks up with your Facebook account and allows for simultaneous uploads of multiple photos from your camera roll, with a quick-tagging and captioning feature to speed the whole process up. It also offers a built-in photo editor that lets you crop and resize photos, as well as apply a number of photo filters. When online, the app also features a photo feed where you can check out your friends’ uploaded images.
It’s a pretty simple uploader and photo viewer that won’t really replace Instagram for people who already use it, but if all you need is a simple app dedicated to Facebook photos, you can get it from the App Store for free.
