Most of the time, the best stuff you can buy are the ones with features that are so simple, it’s amazing you didn’t think of it yourself. Take the CordLite, for example: It’s an iPhone charging cable that comes with an LED light up front, so you can easily hook it up in the dark. It’s ridiculously simple, but if you think about it, it’s unbelievably handy as well. Think of all the times you had to make blind hookups with your charger and the bottom of your iOS device in the dark. This solves that problem. In style.
Yep, we said ‘in style,’ simply because it looks pretty good. Designed in black and white colors to match your iPhone (or iPad), the business end is also constructed with bead-blasted aluminum panels to keep the styling Apple-y. To keep using it simple and intuitive, the aluminum surfaces are also touch sensitive, automatically turning on the lights when you pick it up. One side of the plug also features two pinholes that light up to let you know which side is up.
Awesome idea, right? Unfortunately, this project isn’t a sure thing yet. Scrap Pile Labs is currently looking for backers on Kickstarter for funding, but if it looks like something you want and want to pitch in, a $30 pledge will get you a CordLite in either black or white.
