Nokia to hold a Times Square event for Lumia 900

Here’s another part of the expected big launch for the Nokia Lumia 900: Nokia has put out word that they’re preparing a special event in New York City to launch the Lumia 900. The Times Square event will start at 7:00pm on Friday, April 6th – basically the same date the clock on the “mysterious” SmartPhone Beta Test ends on.

No other details were specified, except for a “live performance with special guest.” Other than that, you already know the rest: AT&T will start selling the Nokia Lumia 900 on April 8th, offering a high-end Windows Phone 7.5-based smartphone for $100 on a contract.
