AT&T to release Nokia Lumia on April 8 online, April 9 in stores Nokia Lumia 900The recent tip that AT&T might be releasing the Nokia Lumia 900 on April 8th is getting some serious traction. Various sources from AT&T store employees have tipped the same dates to WPCentral, mentioning that the carrier plans to make the premium Windows Phone available online starting April 8, and in stores on April 9th.

Demo units seem to have been distributed to retail stores as well, where employees have started getting some hands-on time with the upcoming device. A WPCentral reader gave his opinion on what to expect from the Lumia 900, mentioning that the matte finish on the back cover feels “super nice.”

A previous source also mentioned that the Lumia 900 might be limited to black and blue colors on AT&T, possibly followed by the white model if it sells well.

The Lumia 900 will rock a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen, 1.4GHz processor, 1830mAh battery, 16GB of storage, and 8MP/1.3MP cameras, but the price is what makes it “super-duper nice.” It’s expected to sell for $99 with a contract. AT&T still hasn’t made anything official, but with all the reports pointing in the same direction, it’s starting to look as good as done.
