The Panasonic Lumix GF5 that was first revealed in an accidental Instagram “leak” has been properly – if still unofficially – exposed. The same nPhoto source who tipped the camera’s features has sent two more official-looking photos that show the black and silver color variants of the GF5.
The source also confirmed a few of the rumored details, mentioning that the sensitivity will range from ISO 100 to 12,800, which gives it a similar range to that of Canon’s EOS 7D and 60D DSLR cameras. Not bad for a pocket-sized cam.
The rest of the phone’s spec still hasn’t been confirmed, but the GF5 is rumored to feature a 12-megapixel sensor. It’s also expected to launch alongside the larger G5, which will follow the G3 with a 16-megapixel sensor. A launch date wasn’t mentioned, but judging by the leaked photos, this one looks ready.
