USB flash drives aren’t exactly at the forefront of tech’s forward march to innovation. There’s only so much you can say about them aside from the size, weight, storage capacity, and whatever extra software features their makers thought to include. This is probably why they’ve started creating them in different designs to appeal to specific markets.

Indeed, if you make it kawaii enough, they will come. And this flash drive disguised as a tiny hard disk drive certainly appeals to this demographic.

Created by Taiwanese storage device manufacturer InfoThink, this USB flash drive only comes in 8GB and is absolutely adorable looking like a miniature replica of something you should be seeing when you prop your PC’s tower open. To be honest, that’s just about the only notable fact about it. But hey, it does what it’s built to do.

It comes in a lightweight metal body with glowing accents, and makes for a nice novelty gift item. The English translated product page also mentions an “intimate strap hole” which sounds hilarious and really dirty…until you realize that we’re talking about a flash drive, and that it’s the lanyard hole they were referring to. Oh well.

You can one of these babies over at Amazon for $21.99.
