Microsoft will reportedly start offering the Nokia Lumia 800 in the US as part of a special bundle in time for Valentine’s Day. Priced at $899, the bundle includes the Lumia 800 smartphone as well as a Play 360 Bluetooth speaker and Purity HD headset they co-developed with Monster Cable.
You’re out of luck if you were looking for a lower-priced package that includes the Lumia 800, since it won’t be available without the packaged accessories, but look on the bright side: it’s an unlocked phone – one that’ll work on AT&T and T-Mobile – so at least you won’t have to sign up for a new mobile contract if you already have one.
The newly-announced white Lumia 800 hasn’t been mentioned, but sources have said that it’s going to be offered on the 14th.
Also, if you’re willing to wait a bit and you don’t mind taking on a new contract, the bigger and better Lumia 900 is expected to launch next month on AT&T — reportedly for only $100.
