The fashion-geared smartphone by LG and Prada that was teased last month is now officially out, featuring a 4.3-inch Nova Plus screen, an Android OS, and Prada-designed accessories to satisfy tech-loving fashionistas.
The specs confirm a lot of the details from earlier rumors: the phone will run on a 1GHz TI OMAP dual-core processor, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD card for adding more, and HSPA+ 3G support. The phone also rocks a very capable cam, packing an eight-megapixel snapper at the back that’s capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
The phone has been announced to arrive with Android 2.3.7 preloaded, but it’s been announced that an update to Android 4.0 – which will also be customized with a black-and-white Prada-themed version of LG’s Optimus UI – is on the way.
As expected, Prada’s brand will be all over this phone, which will come bundled with its own docking station and a matching Prada bag. Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s set to go on sale in January.
