This shows how good (and entertaining) Siri can get with a little hacking know-how. This video from the Music Hack Day 2011 in London shows an iPhone 4S with Siri rapping to Notorious B.I.G’s Hypnotize. Not bad, Siri. Not bad at all. (video available after the break)
Of course, this iPhone 4S isn’t running the stock version of Siri. To get the Notorious Siri to keep her lyrical tempo tight, the phone runs SiriProxy, which is basically a hack that allows users to send requests to a server instead of Apple’s systems. With a little coding know-how – in this case, a way to keep Siri’s speech tied to Biggie’s original beat by reducing the text-to-speech delays – you get this.
