Leaks reveal release date, $300 price for Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus

It looks like the Galaxy Nexus will indeed sell for $299.99 on Verizon – or at least according to a tip to the WSJ. The relatively high price isn’t that big a surprise though, considering that the carrier has slapped other premium phones (like the HTC Rezound and Motorola Droid RAZR) with the same price tag.

The pricing info didn’t come with any other launch details besides a generic “December” release, but a separate report that shows an updated Verizon equipment guide all but confirms the rumored December 9 release date.
