Galaxy Nexus official images, Verizon release dates leak out Verizon Galaxy Nexus press shots

Verizon has updated their website with the official press shots of the Android 4.0-packing Galaxy Nexus that’s expected any day now. While the images haven’t been officially posted, the site’s code revealed what Verizon’s version is going to look like once it gets released. Not much of a big surprise though: the images show a design that’s pretty much the same as the phone Samsung already launched in Europe, save for Verizon’s badge and the 4G LTE logo stenciled at the back.

Verizon still hasn’t confirmed launch details for Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich flagship device, but the phone is expected to launch on December 8th in North America.

A recent leak on Droid-Life has pinpointed a number of Verizon releases that includes a different date for the Galaxy Nexus. According to the sources, the Galaxy Nexus is set to launch on December 9th, followed by the Motorola Droid Xyboard tablet on December 12th. The keyboard-packing Droid 4 is expected to be released on December 22nd, while the rumored white Droid Razr is expected out some time in “mid-December.”
