Asus outs Eee PC 1225B powered by AMD Fusion APU   Asus Asus outs Eee PC 1225BAsus has officially announced the Eee PC 1225B, a new notebook that rocks a feature set that places it somewhere between an ultraportable and a netbook. The 1225B is fronted by an 11.6-inch display, making it the 12.1-inch 1215B’s smaller brother with the same 1366 x 768 resolution, but with a newer engine with AMD’s Fusion APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) that combines the dual core processor and Radeon discrete graphics for multimedia performance.

LG to release “non ugly” Cinema 3D TV glasses in 2012   LG 2012 3D glasses

If you just splurged a serious amount of cash this season for a new home entertainment center that centers on a 3D TV – and a few pairs of generic 3D TV glasses to watch it with – then you’re going to want to look into this. LG has announced that they’ll be coming out with a new collection of 3D glasses. They’ll probably work just like the ones you already have (more or less), but the new line promises to be lighter and more comfortable to wear and look less goofy, with clean frames and curved lenses, designs that you can probably get away with outside on a sunny day, and a pair designed by designer Alain Mikli. Tizi Remote app turns your iPhone into a Siri powered channel changer   Tizi Remote app

Equinux has put out a new TV remote app that uses Siri outside of her usual Apple-approved services. Called the Tizi Remote, the app will let you use an iPhone 4S to control TV channels on your iPad – as long as the iPad is hooked up to a separate Tizi or Tizi Go DVB-T receiver. Past that, Siri plays a simple role acting as a voice-enabled channel flipper – in case you miss the good old days, when TVs didn’t come with remotes and fathers the world over had to ask their kids (also via voice command) to get up and flip the channels for them.

Everyone rocking an iPhone 4, iPad (1), or iPod touch running on a stock version of iOS 5.0.1 – as well as everyone else still slumming it on iOS 4.3 because they can’t bear an un-JB’d mobile – rejoice! Thanks to the efforts of pod2g, the dev who found the necessary crack in the iOS armor, and the Chronic Dev Team, we’ve got this: a fully functional untethered jailbreak for A4 devices running iOS 5.0.1.

iPad 3 home button spotted in China, reveals tiny design tweaks   ipad 3 home buttons

The pair of photos show what’s being reported as the iPad 3’s home button, compared side-by side with the existing iPad 2’s button. Considering that we’re only a few months away from a possible introduction, it’s probably not the most interesting detail, but it does reveal a number of things about the next iPad.
