Watch the Droid Razr cut through a birthday cake in new Rogers ad

This is a new Rogers ad for the Droid Razr, showing the 7.1mm-slim smartphone being blasted from an air cannon before it rips into an egg and a birthday cake. Now, we’re pretty sure that you could get the same results (blasted egg, ruined cake) with an air-cannoned Nokia 5110, but we’re guessing that the high-speed take is all about the cleanliness of the cut, so we’re going to call “awesome” on this one as long as we’re taking that into account  (we also have to admit that we’ll call “awesome” on any video featuring anything shot out of an air-cannon and shown in slow-mo though). Oh, and the Razr was shown to have survived the whole ordeal, so no smartphones were harmed in the shooting of this ad.
