AT&T’s set to serve up three more Android-powered smartphones this weekend. On Sunday, November 20th, the carrier will start shipping the Samsung Captivate Glide, the Samsung DoubleTime, and the Pantech Pocket for $50 with a contract.
Despite the similar price tag, you don’t get the same thing. For $50, the Samsung Captivate glide seems like the best deal to take here, offering a four-inch Super AMOLED screen, a slide-out QWERTY keypad and dual cams (8-megapixel cam at the back, 1.3-megapixel cam up front) on the outside, and a dual-core Tegra 2 processor on the inside.

The Samsung DoubleTime packs a more conservative spec inside an interesting double-hinged clamshell body. The clamshell phone runs on Android 2.2, and sports a 3.2-inch, 320 x 480 touchscreen, and a comparatively low-end 600MHz processor – obviously not a tech-heavy model, but the form factor and spec should appeal to people looking for a low-cost messaging phone.
The Pantech Pocket is a touchscreen smartphone that runs on Android 2.3, highlighted by a spacious four-inch, 600 x 800 screen and a five-megapixel camera with support for 1080p HD recording.
