T-Mobile has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (the version that comes with a SIM slot) and the Huawei SpringBoard, two tablets that run on Android 3.2 and feature HSPA+ connectivity (or what T-Mobile brands as ‘4G’). they didn’t announce pricing yet, but mentioned that these two slates are set for a release in time for the holidays.

You’ve likely heard of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 by now. It’s Samsung’s super-slim (8.6mm-thin) Honeycomb tablet that sports a 10.1-inch screen with a wide 1280 x 800 resolution, 1GHz Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of memory. T-Mobile’s version is still pretty much the same as Samsung’s stock tablet, but this one comes with support for T-Mo’s faster HSPA+ data connection.

It’s basically the MediaPad slapped with a different name, and that’s basically the only difference. The SpringBoard sports a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with the same 1280 x 800 resolution, running on a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. Despite the small screen, it still packs a decent cam, with a 5MP snapper at the back that’s capable of 720p video recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calls.
