Viewsonic has introduced their third Android-based smartphone. Called the V430, the specs look pretty similar to the V350 they introduced earlier this year, with both running on Android Froyo and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. This one comes with a larger screen to compete with… well, just about every other just-released premium smartphone.
The spec on the V430 is pretty standard for an Android smartphone. The upcoming phone features a 4.3-inch screen (and a 480 x 800-resolution) alongside a VGA camera up front and a five-megapixel main camera at the back. The rest of the spec is rounded out by 512MBs of memory, as well as GPS, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone will arrive preinstalled with Android 2.2 along with the company’s ViewScene 3D UI overlay.
Prices and launch dates weren’t specified, but it looks like the V430 is set to land in Russia soon, with no word on availability anywhere else.
