News of HTC’s still-unannounced tablet has been heating up lately. Thanks to previous leaks, we already know what it’s going to look like, we have some of the specs down, and we’ve also seen the tablet’s interface (thanks to a leak that revealed a number of the Puccini’s screens). A new report gave out another piece of the Puccini’s puzzle: according to the Chinese paper Liberty Times, the company plans to launch the tablet “at the end of the third quarter or early fourth quarter” of 2011.
So here’s what HTC could be launching in a couple of months: the Puccini will be packing an eight-megapixel main camera and a front-facing cam, and is known to have the same support for the Scribe pen accessory as the HTC Flyer. The Puccini – or whatever it’s going to be called by the time it launches – is also known to come with a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor and a 4G LTE radio that’ll connect to AT&T.
