Are you looking for a tweak that’ll let you run Windows 7 on your iPhone? If you answered ‘yes,’ then pardon me, but you’re crazy (you’re aware that Microsoft came up with the Windows Phone 7 platform for you, right?). But if you’re just interested in tweaking your iPhone’s interface to make it look like your iPhone’s running Windows, then here you go: the iWindows tweak is a UI theme tweak that simply replaces the default iOS interface and replacing it with a Windows 7 look that may or may not interest you.
A few things about iWindows: the screens come in odd resolutions and it won’t work like Windows, but it also comes with a rather clunky ‘Chrome-like’ web browser that should make your Windows-using brain feel at home. Also featured on the interface: a handy “Info” button that displays who developed the tweak. It’s not perfect, but hey, at least it’s free.
We’re not sure why anyone would want to run (or even look like they’re running) Windows on an iPhone, but in case you can come up with a good enough reason, iWindows is free on Cydia from the BigBoss repo.
