Earphones made for Android: Klipsch Image S4A   Klipsch Image S4A 2Klipsch has announced their first pair of earphones specifically designed to work with Android devices. Called the Image S4A, the earphones are compatible with devices running Android 2.1 or later, and features an in-line remote for controlling music and calls, but is made unique by the free companion Control App.

The gScreen SpaceBook 17 rocks two screens, to ship in November   gScreen SpaceBook 17 bNeed the portability of a laptop, but you’re not a fan of the tight screen space? Welcome to the club. Specifically, the non-existing club made up of people who choose to plug in a separate monitor because their laptop screen just isn’t enough for work. Problem is, you can’t always pack an extra monitor. Anyway, here’s a unique solution: the SpaceBook 17, made by gScreen. Basically, it’s a regular laptop that rocks two 17-inch 1920 x 1080 LED screens.

iPhone 5 to maintain 3.7 inch screen size?    leaked iPhone 5 design

Thanks to a number of previous rumors, we all assumed that the next-gen iPhone will rock a larger screen that could measure 4 inches. Well, here’s a curveball off the rumor mill: earlier this week, part suppliers said that Apple is going to maintain a 3.7-inch screen. It’s still going to look slightly different though, since they’ll be using a slimmer bezel that could make the new iPhone’s screen appear larger, while trimming down the phone’s overall size.

An Apple employee walks in a bar… and loses another iPhone prototype   MissingiPhone01

What is it with bars and iPhone prototypes? After an Apple employee left a prototype iPhone 4 in a bar last year (…which then ended up in Gizmodo’s possession), we’d have thought Apple and the employees who had access to the prototypes would make sure this never happened again. Apparently, it just happened again. According to this CNET report, an Apple employee lost a next-gen iPhone prototype (again) in a bar (again) in San Francisco.

Sharp Galapagos tablet launches in Japan for $1   sharp galapagos a01sh

If you thought picking up a TouchPad for $99 was a steal, then you’re going to love this: Sharp has launched the 7-inch Galapagos A01SH tablet in Japan, and it’s available for ¥100, or around $1. Not too shabby for a compact Android 3.2-based tablet that runs on a Tegra 2 processor and 1GB RAM, but you’re going to have to sign up for an ISP service if you want the $1 deal.
