Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc now out in the US, unlocked SE Xperia Arc 2

It’s been out just about everywhere except in the US, where they ironically first unveiled it during CES back in January. Well, that little bit of insignificant mobile phone info has just been corrected: Sony just made the phone available—unlocked—in the US through their online store. It’s pretty much the same phone already available in Canada, so it supports AT&T’s 3G network along with everyone else’s, as long as “everyone else” uses a GSM network (it’ll also work on T-Mobile, but will only connect using 2G data.)

Anyway, here’s the deal: the Xperia Arc rocks a 4.2-inch display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and 8-megapixel Exmor camera, all packed into a slim, curved frame that’s slimmer than the iPhone 4 at 8.7mm. All yours for $600 without a contract.
