Asus has put out another teaser for a tablet that they’re unveiling at Computex in Taiwan next week. It only shows the tablet’s silhouette, but it sure looks like the Eee Pad MeMo that they announced at CES way back in January. If that’s the MeMo, then it’s going to be a 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablet that features a microHDMI port and 1080p HD support.
At the time, the MeMo was listed to be out by June for $399, so an announcement next week at Computex sounds just about right. The part where the teaser says that it’s going to be “a tablet that jumps out at you” is a bit intriguing though. Does it mean that it’s going to rock a 3D screen, or is it just some figure-of-speech twist that we haven’t figured out yet? We’ll know more next week.
