Leak: Samsung D600 for Sprint mixes good specs with budget features
Mobile Phones - Thursday, May 26th, 2011
A new, unannounced Samsung phone headed for Sprint has just turned up at Phandroid. Only known as the SPH-D600—at least until another leak unveils the official name—the phone won’t come as a new flagship (the 3.2MP cam and 320 x 480 screen kind of gave that away), but it’s not exactly a budget phone either. Mixed in with the weak cam and low-res screen? Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and 4G connectivity.
No word on when Sprint plans to release this phone, but it should cost below the $200 price point usually reserved for premium models. Not bad if you’re looking to score a 4G phone on the cheap. [via Phandroid]
